The growing research bodies suggest that all drinks sweetened with sugar or artificial sweeteners increase the risk of earlier death.
A recent study with the International Agency for Research on Cancer included 452,000 from 10 different European countries. The study is published in JAMA International Medicine. It suggests that consumption of 2 or more sweetened drinks increases the death risk, mainly from digestive diseases.

Many commercial juices and other beverages contain more than the recommended quantity of sugar per serving. Harvard T.H. Chan of Public Health mentions that 10 teaspoons of sugar are in 12 ounces of soda. Cranberry juice cocktail contains 12 teaspoons sugar.
A venti white chocolate mocha at having whipped cream at Starbucks contains almost 18 teaspoons of added sugar.
Experts suggest that avoiding high sugar beverages is an easy way to prevent excess sugar consumption in daily life. A healthy change in lifestyle causes a significant decrease in preventable health risks of diabetes, obesity, heart diseases, and stroke.
It is to be mentioned that excessive consumption of every drink is a problem. Experts suggest the consumption of water and unsweetened drinks to prevent heart and other health problems.
